BMCes is a C-section metal seal ring composed of a close-wounded helical spring and one or two jackets, which could offer greater ductility than the flange materials and sealing stress as well. In accordance with the real applications, different materials of the spring and jacket could be selected to keep the balance of sealing performance and cost. Mainly applying to special working conditions with high temperature, high pressure, high vacuum and ultra-low temperature with micro-leakage at big cycles of pressure and temperature, BMCes could be installed in TF or RF flanges of pressure vessels, heat exchangers, gas turbines, ultra vacuum equipment, semiconductor devices and special valves, etc.
